For years, women of color have been told that their skin color is not beautiful. Through fairness creams that promise lighter skin, cultural expectations and so much more, we’ve been brought down about something we should never change. The "Being Fair Project" was created to empower women of color through our stories of the relationship we share with our skin. We have been through and seen it all. The love, hate, shame...what's next? How can we make sure our future is fair, yet still inclusive of all colors in the spectrum? This project aims to answer that question and support anyone who needs it along the way.
